PARKER J PFISTER (b.1968)
With a career spanning over three decades, Parker Pfister’s portrait, wedding and fine art photography has been recognized and celebrated internationally, earning him numerous accolades, awards and publications.
Pfister's photographs and interviews have been published by The BBC, Entertainment Tonight, The Food Network, People, Martha Stewart, OK, In Style, Popular Photography, Professional Photographer, Rangefinder, Studio Photography and Design, Photo District News, Modern Bride, Today’s Bride and many other international magazines and photographic books.
His connection with the people he photographs, his meticulous attention to detail, his commitment to pushing creative boundaries, and his unwavering dedication to his craft of photography, assures his clients a unique and fulfilling experience; some have even said life-altering.
For the last 30 years, weddings have taken Pfister around the world. His medley of documentary, fine art, and portraiture have earned him the title of one of the 10 best wedding photographers in the world (American Photo Magazine) and 2o most influential photographers in the wedding world. These accolades were also the catalyst of his wedding retreats that he has led internationally, teaching the art of wedding photography to thousands of now inspired shutterbugs.
Pfister’s fine art work has been displayed and collected world wide for over 25 years. Two of his photographs were selected by the Lucie Foundation to hang in an unprecedented 100 image group exhibition at the United Nations’ COP 21 in Paris, France. Those images would go on to the C40 Mayor’s summit in Mexico City, “Beyond the Air We Breathe” at The Royal Photographic Society in Bangkok, Thailand, and “The Climate Smart Evolution” in Bologna, Italy.
Together, these images have reached millions, creating a visceral experience of what climate change means to us and to our homelands.
